Hello to everyone, and happy Monday!
Right now, Metro704 is having Apache issues which is causing the server to be unresponsive. Specifically, Apache is not accepting traffic requests for some reason. We have tried several fixes from our end that usually work, including increasing memory limits and time out values to tweaking server configurations. We have also tried the age-old fix of restarting, but no luck.
The good news is we believe we have narrowed down the issue to a cPanel/WHM configuration error and a cPanel representative is working with our server administrators to get it resolved as I write this. We are hoping to have everything back up and running within the next hour, but at this time we don’t have a definitive ETA on the fix.
We will keep you updated with what’s going on to make sure you aren’t in the dark about your website. We are working as quickly as possible to get service restored and we do apologize for the outage.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact our support team, we would be happy to help you out. Again, we do apologize and appreciate your understanding while we work through this.
UPDATE 1 – The cPanel representative is currently recompiling the server after making some configuration changes. We are waiting for this to complete to see if the configuration updates resolved the issues.
UPDATE 2 – The server configuration changes worked and everything should be back up and running now. We apologize for the downtime.
